Heart motives.

Story 1
A parent pray for his son who is on drug primarily because is an embarrassment to him. But God first priority is the salvation of the son and nit to relieve from your embarrassment.

Story 2
A woman is praying for her mother salvation. Why?  She answer because don't want her to go to hell. But what said everything done on earth should be solely for the purpose to glorify His name.

1 Corinthians 10:31 NIV
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Jesus 40 days in the wilderness brought Him face to face with the temptation.

Israel 40 years in the wilderness demo started the faithfulness of God.

Noah 40 days in the Ark reveal the saving grace of God even in the midst of judgment.

Prayer
Father , I praise Your name. With a grateful heart I thank You for your word that is working in my life to keep my heart motives pure and free from sin and pride .Amen.

This is one area I struggle. True heart and true act.

Father,  I pray that you give me the true heart and act out of my true heart.  I know I am weak and a sinner. Help me by providing me the strength to overcome the motive of my heart. Amen.
